Check out this 85K-Mile Speed Yellow Porsche 996 Carrera 6sp. There isn’t much to go by here because I can’t run the VIN and there are only 3 photos. But from what I can see, Aero Kit, Sport Seats and Yellow Seat Belts. The car does have a bad fax and appears to originally have been a Canadian market car. That being said, I do recall prepandemic a Speed Yellow Basketcase being available in South Carolina, I called to inquire, and the dealer was willing to sell to me for low 20’s, but a salesman sold the car an hour later <thats life>. That car had similar aftermarket head lamps as this, so I’m thinking its the same car. So buyer beware, do your due diligence. You can find this multiowner damaged Carfax (WP0AA2990XS625236) 996 here in Columbia, SC for $27K.
I bought this car. Turned out to be highly optioned – in addition to the sports seats (heated) and yellow seat belts, is an original XAA / 220 / M030 / X54 packaged car. Recent clutch/flywheel/IMS (LN Engineering) service and obviously lovingly maintained for last 12 years. No evidence of body damage either. Interior original and no significant damage. Sport Classic II wheels (original spec) & Michelins ordered, Litronic headlights (original spec) will replace the aftermarkets, B&M short shifter returned to stock and a full refresh of older engine mounts will be next. Nothing more to do than enjoy it and never sell it. Happily sits at 4k rpm all day long!
