10/12/18 UPDATE: According to commenter Joby, Gone.
This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera (VIN WP0AA2993XS620662) has a claimed 65,554 miles on the clock and is finished in Arctic Silver over Black leather. Selling dealer states, “Recent arrival”. Find this one offered here at Cars.com in Loveland, Colorado for $19,995.
ANOTHER BASE SILVER CARRERA! How many of these things did they make? We have said this 103X but I will repeat it for the new readers, we REALLY like the simplicity of the narrowbody 996 Carrera. In particular the 99’s because of the cable connected throttle and the optional factory Limited Slip Differential, which is exactly what we have here.
Super early production date here, February 1998!!! That is the earliest we have seen here in the states. This car represents the trinity for early 996’s, LSD, Cable-Throttle and 4 spoke wheel. Modern enough, but still brings the nostalic feelings of the 993. We don’t spy many exterior options at all, we’re just seeing the 18″ Turbo look wheels and what appears to be stainless steel exhaust tips.
As for the interior, we spy standard black leather comfort seats, and thats pretty much it. Looks to be a very base Carrera which is fine by us, less things to break 🙂
This car is perfect spec. 296Hp, 6sp, cable throttle AND LSD. 4 spoke 993 steering wheel and 993 style Turbo look wheels? Where do we sign up? CarFax appears clean (see it on the dealers site). Don’t forget the PPI. Make this classic Carrera your firstflatsix.
Just bought it thanks to the heads up here. Got it below asking as well!
