This 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera (VIN WP0AA29991S622455) has a claimed 52,700 miles and is finished in “Paint to Sample” blue over graphite grey leather. No additional information from the seller and no indication of any IMS/RMS work done with this one. Find this one offered here on CarGurus in Granada Hills, California for $21,500.
$90K narrow-body Carrera folks! Look at that options sheet! Paint-to-Sample too! This is by far the most expensive base Carrera we have ever come across. Don’t sleep, this one looks the part!
Not many pics from the seller, but the stock 18″ 993 Turbo looks were swapped with some Techarts, which we’re not exactly hating. This car is equipped with rare M030 suspension which lowers (and stiffens) the stock suspension 10mm. Flared Rocker panels (nice), litronic headlamps and a rear wiper for you rear wiper nerds out there, round out the exterior.
The 2001 Carrera came a 300HP 3.4L flat-six and is fitted with “E-gas” throttle which was standard in all Carreras save for the ’99 Coupes. In lieu of the LSD that was only available with the 99 C2’s (and 40th Anny cars) this beauty is equipped with PSM, which is a nice consolation prize.
The interior is finished in full Graphite Grey supple leather (front and rear seats, door cards and dash), 3-Spoke leather steering wheel and embossed Porsche Crests. An aftermarket NAV unit is present in lieu of the stock head-unit.
Base Carrera, 300 HP, 6speed, RWD and 52K miles. If you’re looking for a WELL OPTIONED 911, this is your car. Get that IMS work done and enjoy those miles of smiles, haters be damned. The perfect firstflatsix.
Welp, that may be the ONE. Reached out to the seller to see what he knows.
We’re rooting for you!!! This looks clean and the options list is bananas. Good Luck!!!
Update on this, went back and forth with the guy. Original IMS, very hesitant to bring it in for a PSI.
You’re hesitant or he is hesitant? We’d walk away from a car the seller won’t allow you to take for a PPI. Thats a warning sign.
Apologies, he was hesitant so I walked (ran) away. Good news I finally found one in Arizona. Thanks for all the info and laughs throughout this process.
Congrats! Drive it in good health!
