This 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S has a claimed 43,098 miles and is finished in Midnight Blue over Natural Brown full supple leather. Seller states, “Recent Arrival! New Price! Local Trade In, Non Smoker”. No info regarding the IMS/RMS. Find this one offered here in Cincinnati Ohio for $34,500.
So right off the bat, the spec is cool but we think the asking price is a bit high, but thats what negotiations are for. At a $92K MSRP, this was a well optioned C4S. The color combo, Midnight Blue over Natural Brown Leather, appears to be a stunner and one that is rarely seen. These Blue 996’s usually came with the graphite interior.
The interior is finished in “Natural Brown” Full Leather which is a more Camel colored as opposed to the Savannah Beige you normally see. Whats interesting about this spec is the deviated carpets in Metropol Blue. Other notable interior options include, heated seats, Bose radio, painted center console and aluminum dials/trim. We wonder what color the headliner is? Any bets?
As we mentioned earlier, we think the price is high considering it doesn’t have any IMS/RMS work done, however, this isn’t silver/black so maybe it is worth the ask? Whatever your thought’s, budget accordingly. Don’t forget that PPI! Make this Midnight/Brown 996 C4S (WP0AA29974S621356) #firstflatsix
I emailed the dealership to find out more info. The positive news is that this is a two-owner example. The rough news is that there was an accident reported in 2010 with the 2nd owner, looks like they rear-ended someone damaging the front right. It was towed but airbags did not deploy. Looks like everything was repaired well and they kept the car for another 9 years.
Compelling example overall, but that accident … tough to bite on.
Jeff, good info, we found it weird that the dealership didn’t provide a Carfax when one is provided for every other used car they are selling. Use the accident as a negotiating tool. $30K is still a sound buy if everything looks on the up and up! Thanks for reading and commenting!
Checked dealer’s site and car is still available. “Internet Price” down to $30,000 which would really be they’re asking price. If I was looking for a 996 C4S this one would be a serious contender. Need more details on the accident history though…
We posted last week on Social Media about the price drop. Getting that car for high 20’s would be phenomenal.
