Zenith Blue! 37K-Mile Porsche 996 Carrera 6sp

Posted on February 20, 2020February 20, 2020 by flatsixadmin

This 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera has a claimed 37,059 miles and is finished in Zenith Blue over Graphite Grey leather. No additional information provided by the selling dealer, and no info regarding the IMS/RMS. Find this one offered here in Chicago, IL for $26,991.

In a sea of Silver and Grey variants of 996’s, we welcome any splash of color. One of our favorite colors that we rarely see on the used car market is Zenith Blue. Not to be confused (like this dealer) with Ocean or Lapis blue.  On the exterior, the car appears to be lowered on 18″ Turbo Look wheels and is sporting clear headlights and tails.

The interior is finished in “Graphite Grey” standard leather with heated comfort seats and an alcantera headliner.

Price may be a bit high considering mileage and options, but Zenith Blue doesn’t come along often. Budget accordingly for IMS/RMS work and don’t forget that PPI! Make this Zenith Blue (VIN WP0AA2993YS622932) 996 your #FirstFlatSix

May not be for everyone but I LOVE Zenith Blue! Hard to find color for sure, but I really like my Iris Blue 2000 996 which also appears to be a rare color. In fact, I realized after I bought the car it was actually shown on this site back in August 2019!

It was from the July/August 2019 time frame…listing was for a 2000 blue over gray 996 coupe in the Mauldin/Greenville, SC area. Only had a few poor pics, and asking price was around $19k. It appears to be old enough to have dropped off the listings over on the right side of the page. Didn’t make the match that this was my car until after I bought it! I think the owner gave up quickly and traded it in to the local dealership that I ended up buying it from.

Owned for about 5 months and only driver her about 150 miles! I know…I know. No surprises just need to drive it more. The dealership put new tires on it, replaced the hood struts and a window regulator before I bought it. Just wish I would have seen it here sooner and might have been able to buy/connect from the prior owner! I do want to get the IMS/RMS done though…just trying to be patient until I need a clutch. Bought for $19,500 from the Toyota store in Greenville, SC.

Joel: Great score on an Iris Blue Pearl my friend. And at less than $20K just unbelievable. Makes me wonder how long this era of bargain 911’s can hold out. PCA’s Rennbow.org scores Iris Blue Pearl a whopping 4-paint cans for rarity (out of 5). PCA writes: “..sure belongs in the pantheon of great Porsche blues”. That one is a solid hold!

Agreed, fantastic score, would have been sweeter buying from the PO directly, but you can’t win them all.
