Back to what started this blog, what appears to be a well sorted Porsche 996 911 that would make a great entry into 911 ownership and a great FirstFlatSix! For 2001 the 996 didn’t receive any major updates as it is still sporting its 300HP 3.4L flat-six and fitted with “E-gas” throttle, but this car is optioned with PSM. As for the exterior, Seal Grey is always nice and this car is optioned with 18″ Sport Classics, flared rocker panels and stainless steel exhaust tips.
The interior is finished in Graphite Grey (sad trombone), but it is a full leather interior and is NOT optioned with supple leather which are a bonus. Interior options look to include embossed crests, technic package, alcantera headliner, 3 spoke wheel and colored instrument dials.
If you’re on a smaller budget, this is the kind of car you want. Won’t break the bank, Single owner, lower mileage and looks well taken care of (no wheel rash). The interior color isn’t ideal, but a black/black, original IMS car with 10K more miles just sold on Bringatrailer for $28K all in.
